Tom Delonge
Full Name: Thomas Matthew Delonge Jr.
Current Age: 32
Tom Delonge was born to Tom and Connie Delonge on December 13, 1975 and grew up in Poway, CA. with older brother Shon and younger sister Kari. He attended Rancho Bernardo High School and, although not on the ballot, was voted Homecoming King his senior year, after being expelled the previous year for drinking at a basketball game.
Tom met Mark through his sister Anne Hoppus during high school. In 1992, they formed Blink with drummer Scott Raynor, who was replaced by Travis Barker in 1998. Mark and Tom created a footwear company called Macbeth and a clothing company called Atticus together with a mutual friend. Both companies were run by musicians for musicians.
Blink-182 released their smash album Enema of the State in 1999 and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket in 2001. Also in 2001, Tom married his high school sweetheart Jen, and in July of 2002 they became parents to their daughter Ava Elizabeth. Delonge formed a side-project called Box Car Racer in 2003, and in 2005, Blink-182 went on an "indefinite hiatus". They announced their break-up later that same year.
Angels and Airwaves was formed in late 2005, and released their album, We Don't Need to Whisper, in May of 2006. In August of that same year, Tom announced that his son, Jonas Rocket, was born. Tom has repeatedly stated that he's in the process of created a piece of technology to save the music industry. He has also said he plans on releasing a few documentary films with their albums. In the fall and winter of 2006, Angels and Airwaves went on a tour to promote their first album. After their tour, they proceeded to the studio where they created their debut album "I-Empire". The album was released November 1, 2007 on their official website, and could be available for purchase in stores November 6, 2007.
